     Eddie Eugenia Wofford witnessed Eddie married Edwin Smith and lives near Friendship Church on the place where her great-grandfather Isaac Wofford was probably born. Eddie is a lovable, kind and generous woman. To know her is to love her. The Writer of this story is a foster sister to Eddie and can testify to the fact that a better heart than hers never beat. She carried me in her arms for hours at a time when I was small. When she was a young woman and had callers, I used to carry my little box and place it by her and there I sat until made to leave by my mother.

After she was married I used to go and stay for days at a time with her. When these visits ended Eddie would cry to see me go away and I would cry because I had to leave her.

Eddie and Edwin have seven children: Kate, Ruth, Gladys, Lois, Luther, Hayman and Eugene.

Kate married James Coleman and lives at Union.

Ruth married Russel Prince and lives at Union also.

Eula married William Bishop and lives in Spartanburg. They have seven children living: Bramlett, Dorothy, Melba, Minter, Ellen and Margie. Their oldest child Lee died of pneumonia while a young man of seventeen. Another child, Hilda, died when she was small. Melba married Elroy Woodward and lives at Tucapau Mills near Spartanburg.¹
She was buried at Friendship Baptist Church, Pauline SC. Her married name was Smith. She married Edwin O. Smith, son of Leonard Smith and Ada Stephens. Eddie Eugenia Wofford was born on 8 July 1884. She died on 5 May 1955 at Bount Memorial Hosp., Tn., at age 70.

     Edwin O. Smith married Eddie Eugenia Wofford, daughter of Isaac Luther Wofford and Amanda E. Gentry. Edwin O. Smith was buried at Friendship Baptist Church, Pauline SC. He was born on 30 April 1885. He died on 2 May 1960 at age 75.

     Waymon Scaife Smith was born on 11 September 1921. He died on 20 January 1974 at Spartanburg, South Carolina, at age 52.

     Mary Kate Grahm was born on 24 September 1925. She died on 25 November 1976 at age 51.

     Susan Lynn Smith married David Marcellus Renwick 8000/06/01.

     "Bill" William Ernest O'Shields was buried at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, SC. He was born on 8 March 1897. He married Sara Duckett, daughter of Samuel Nolan Duckett and Mary Snelgrove, on 2 July 1924. "Bill" William Ernest O'Shields died on 15 March 1976 at age 79.

     Robbie Belle O'Shields was buried at Rosemont Cemetary, SC. She was born on 13 October 1901. She married Rufus Lloyd Francis, son of Rufus Morgan Francis and Cora Frances Gregory, on 8 November 1924. Robbie Belle O'Shields died on 19 May 1984 at age 82.

     Anne O'Shields witnessed Annie married Edgar Cole and has one child, Mildred. Annie divorced her husband and lived with her mother at Goldville.¹ She was born after 1898. She died on 29 February 1988.

     Evelyn O'Shields was born after 1878. Evelyn O'Shields died after 1879.¹

     Haskell O'Shields witnessed He left a wife and several children. Haskell O'Shields was born after 1880. Haskell O'Shields died in 1932.

     James M. O'Shields witnessed James lived in Laurens and has several children.¹ He was born after 1886.

     Charles W. O'Shields witnessed Charles married Gertrude(?) and lived at Great Falls. He had several children.

     Sara Duckett was born on 27 March 1906. She married "Bill" William Ernest O'Shields, son of Robert Belton O'Shields and Cordelia Annie Wofford, on 2 July 1924.

     Rufus Lloyd Francis was buried at Rosemont Cemetary, SC. He was born on 24 June 1901. He married Robbie Belle O'Shields, daughter of Robert Belton O'Shields and Cordelia Annie Wofford, on 8 November 1924. Rufus Lloyd Francis died on 13 January 1983 at age 81.

     Robert Nolan O'Shields was buried at Lydia Mills Cemetary. He was born on 3 June 1925. He died on 27 July 1926 at age 1.

     Marcie Sybil O'Shields married George Herbert Metts on 19 January 1946.
