     John S Wofford witnessed Comfort's will says that John had children, but not sure who they were... He was Migrated to Choctaw, Miss.??? Not sure if this is correct. The will clearly states he died in Spartanburg, SC. He married (?) Miss? Scott.¹ John S Wofford was born circa 1796 at Spartanburg, South Carolina. He left a will on 1 November 1817; From Book R (1820-1822, Pg 360-361: April 10, 1821 JOHN WOFFORD to FREDRICK PARHAM; for security of a note John gives a Negro boy SMART age 10 years old to Richard Hewel and George Wofford if they lose out due to security on John's debt. Witness John W Williams and Samuel Turner. Signed JOHN WOFFORD's mark. Witness oath Nov 5, 1821 Samuel Turner to Thomas Poole. Received Nov 10, 1821.² He died before 11 May 1826 at South Carolina; Died before 11 May 1826, as on that date his father was named as that is when his father, Nathaniel Wofford was named administrator of John S. Wofford's estate, along with the names of the men who were to do the appraisal of the estate. This court record also seems to show that John S. Wofford died in Spartanburg, SC. Not Arkansas or MS.

     Nathaniel Wofford Jr. witnessed According to Patsy Childs, Comfort's will says Nathaniel had children, not sure who they are yet. She thinks there were at least 4. He was Migrated to Choctaw, Miss. He married (?) Caroline Fieldler.¹ Nathaniel Wofford Jr. was born circa 1802 at Spartanburg, South Carolina. He died circa 1852 at Choctaw Co Miss.

     Jeremiah Wofford was Migrated to Miss.?

They had 14 children. He was born on 12 May 1798. He married Martha Hastings in 1819. Jeremiah Wofford died on 13 January 1872 at Mississippi at age 73.

     Dr. Benjamin Wofford witnessed Benjamin and Ameryllis had 2 children. He was born in 1804. He married Ameryllis B. Drummond in 1831. Dr. Benjamin Wofford died in 1867 at Spartanburg, South Carolina.

     Jessie Joseph Wofford was Migrated to Choctaw, Miss. then to Arkansas???

Had 8 children. He died at Arkansas. He married Elorisa (Clarisa) Wilson.¹ Jessie Joseph Wofford was born in 1812.

     Levi Wofford was Never married. He was born in 1814. He died in 1856 at Spartanburg, South Carolina.

     Eleanor "Nellie" Wofford was Never married. She was born in 1808. She died in 1862.

     Mary (Polly) Wofford was Possibly had 6 children. She married Robert Otts. Mary (Polly) Wofford was born in 1809. She died in 1895.

     Katherine "Katy" Wofford was Never married. She was born in 1811. She died in 1861.

     Margaret (Peggy) Wofford was born in 1806.

     (?) Cole married James Wofford, son of Nathaniel Wofford and Comfort Snow Pruitt, in 1820.

     Martha Hastings was born on 16 February 1801. She married Jeremiah Wofford, son of Nathaniel Wofford and Comfort Snow Pruitt, in 1819. Martha Hastings died circa 1865 at Choctaw Co Miss.

     Ameryllis B. Drummond married Dr. Benjamin Wofford, son of Nathaniel Wofford and Comfort Snow Pruitt, in 1831.

     J.T. Wofford was In 1928, he owned the land where his great-grandfather James Wofford lived during the Revolution. He was born in 1832 at Spartanburg, South Carolina.

     Clarissa "Elorisa" Wilson died at Arkansas. She was born in 1820.

     Robert Otts married Mary (Polly) Wofford, daughter of Nathaniel Wofford and Comfort Snow Pruitt.

     Isaac Wright was born at Texas.

     Eber Wofford was Never married. He was born on 10 October 1812. He died on 15 June 1831 at age 18.

     Cassandra Wofford died at Ga. She was Moved to Marietta, Ga after they married. She married Levi Durham at Spartanburg, South Carolina. Cassandra Wofford was born on 7 July 1814.

     Elizabeth "Betsy" Wofford died at Arkansas. She married Louis Johnson at Spartanburg, South Carolina. Elizabeth "Betsy" Wofford was born on 12 August 1816.

     Delilah Emily "Lila" Wofford was born on 1 January 1820. She married Elias Joseph Wofford, son of Jessie "Jesse" Elija Wofford and Mary "Polly" Drummond, on 17 March 1837. Delilah Emily "Lila" Wofford died on 11 May 1895 at age 75.

     William Wofford married (?) Martha Westmoreland.¹ William Wofford was born on 21 September 1818. He died on 11 December 1859 at Miss. at age 41.

     Levi Durham married Cassandra Wofford, daughter of John Houpbough Wofford and Elizabeth Drummond, at Spartanburg, South Carolina.

     Louis Johnson married Elizabeth "Betsy" Wofford, daughter of John Houpbough Wofford and Elizabeth Drummond, at Spartanburg, South Carolina. Louis Johnson was born at Arkansas.

     Martha Westmoreland was born in 1822. She died after 1870 at Mississippi.
