     Albert West witnessed Albert had one son Mitchell. Albert died when Mitchell was small. Mitchell has three children and lived at Jonesville, SC.¹
He was born after 1875. He died circa 1879.

     Ada West witnessed Ada married Edwin Simmons and lives near Friendship Church. They have ten children: Thad, Marie, Harmon, Laura, Paul, Russell, Alba, George, Frances and Lester.¹ Her married name was Simmons. She married Edwin Simmons. Ada West was born after 1876.

     Leander West witnessed Lenader married Mattie Leister and lives at Beaumont Mills near Spartanburg where he holds a responsible position. They have three children: Ruth, Lois and Leander, Jr.¹ He married Mattie Leister. Leander West was born after 1877.

     Gus West witnessed "Gus" married Hattie Spillers and lives near West Springs. They have seven children: Inez, Estelle, Alfred, Myrtle, Joe, Everett and Gene.¹ He married Hattie Spillers. Gus West was born after 1878.

     Beatrice West witnessed Beatrice married Herbert West and has seven children: Ruby, Mary, Vivian, Evelyn, two boys and Donald.¹
She married Herbert West. Beatrice West was born after 1879.

     Drayton O'Shields was born after 1882. He died after 1895; Drayton died of small pox at Arkwright Mills while a very young man.¹

     Arthur Howington married Sarah Wofford, daughter of Mark J. Wofford and Jane Tate, circa 1870.

     John Neely married Laura Wofford, daughter of Merrick H. Wofford and Caroline Peace.

     Her married name was Wofford. Eliza Peay married Marion E. Wofford, son of John Wofford and Nancy Inlow, circa 1862. Eliza Peay died circa 1863.

     Jenny Holland married Marion E. Wofford, son of John Wofford and Nancy Inlow, circa 1864.

     Pauline Wofford married Wilder Walker.

     Wilder Walker married Pauline Wofford, daughter of Marion E. Wofford.

     Amanda Moore married William Thomas Wofford, son of John Wofford and Nancy Inlow.

     Thomas Wyatt married Samantha Wofford, daughter of John Wofford and Nancy Inlow, in October 1880.

     John Modie Thompson witnessed John M and Vena had ten children. John died in 1914 and is buried on the crest of the hill above his home which overlooks the Cossawatti River.

Vena and most of her children still live on at the old home near the cemetery. They own some of the most fertile land in the northern part of Georgia. The valley of the Cossawatti yields abundant crops every year.¹ He married Nancy Luvenia (Vena) Wofford, daughter of Rev. Isaac Edwin Wofford and Eugenia Caroline Inlow. John Modie Thompson died in 1914.
